Position Overview:

TCE is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Finance Clerk to support our Finance Department's day-to-day operations. This remote role is ideal for someone who thrives in an administrative/financial support capacity, is comfortable working independently, and is committed to accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable data entry in the accounting system
  • Match, categorize, and reconcile employee credit card receipts to monthly VISA statements
  • Scan, label, and electronically store credit card receipts on TCE's secure server
  • Track and organize Passport-related expense receipts to be billed to March of Dimes
  • Provide vacation relief for other finance staff
  • Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining digital records
  • Support other finance-related tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience in bookkeeping, finance administration, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong computer skills; comfortable navigating accounting software and digital record systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong written communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work independently, remotely, and meet deadlines
  • Experience in not-for-profit or social services settings considered an asset
  • Familiarity with TCE's supports and services, Collective Agreement, and internal policies (or willingness to learn)

Compensation:

$25 plus 2% in lieu of benefits and 6% vacation
