The Keekenow Senior facility opened in June 2020 and offers assisted living and independent living to community elders both indigenous and non-indigenous. The Keekenow Senior Facility includes 60 suites and extensive amenity space including two dementia care cottages designed to create a home like setting.

The Keekenow Senior Facility is seeking a Virtual Scheduling Clerk to join their team.

**As the Virtual Scheduling Clerk, you will...**

Maintain effective scheduling processes; provide short notice relief staff. You will ensure complete documentation of all activities and telephone calls, ensure effective communication between the facility requesting relief staff and the relief staff booked. Duties also include clerical support, data input, maintaining filing systems and other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.

**What do you bring to Keekenow Senior Facility?**
- Five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a care facility or hospital setting is required
- Post-secondary diploma in Office Administration is an asset
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is required
- Possess interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external contacts while delivering services in a timely and accurate manner in an environment with frequent interruptions
- Can manage sensitive information and recognize limits/boundaries
- Demonstrates an awareness of accident and injury prevention; adheres to safe work practices and procedures; and is responsible for maintaining self-wellness and reduced absenteeism

You must have a current and clear criminal record check (or be willing to obtain one), have all current and up-to-date immunization records, and be flexible to meet the needs of the residents including weekends and holidays.
