We're Hiring Part-Time (3 days/week)Level II Dental Assistant (Orthodontics)

(Orthodontic experience is an asset—but not required)

Your Role

  • Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures, including placing and removing orthodontic appliances, attachments, bands, and brackets as prescribed
  • Take orthodontic records (photos, digital scans, and X-rays)
  • Prepare and clean operatories; perform sterilization duties
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following all office policies and regulatory requirements
  • Engage with patients—ensuring comfort, explaining procedures, and answering questions
  • Provide clear instructions regarding treatment plans and post-care
  • Support administrative tasks such as patient records, billing, and supply management
  • Help ensure smooth patient flow and contribute to a welcoming office atmosphere
  • Obtain pricing and place clinical supply orders when required

What We're Looking For

  • Certified Level II Dental Assistant with NDAEB & HARP certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Preference given to candidates who have completed an Orthodontic Module or Orthodontic Dental Assistant course
  • Orthodontic experience is an asset, but we're happy to train the right candidate
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to excellent patient care
  • Comfortable using dental software and office technology
  • A true team player who takes pride in their work
