  • Level II Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in good standing with the ODAA
  • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols
  • Assist the dentist during exams, restorations, and procedures
  • Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Manage patient records accurately using dental software (Akitu One)
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent chairside care
  • Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies
  • Provide gentle, supportive care for pediatric patients
  • Adhere to all safety standards and clinical protocols

Skills & Qualifications

  • Level II Dental Assisting certification required
  • Proficiency with dental software (Akitu One preferred; training provided)
  • Knowledge of dental and medical terminology
  • Familiarity with CAD/digital imaging is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
