We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Cook. This role involves providing exceptional food service, preparing meals, and ensuring a high standard of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in serving and food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting, with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to a vibrant dining environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Cook and plate meals, maintaining consistency in presentation and quality
  • Handle food safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Follow all food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings if required
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
