We are currently recruiting a Full-time Permanent Advisor, Labor Relations based out of Calgary, Edmonton or Winnipeg.

Reporting to the Manager , Employee Care, Advisor, Labour Relations is a key position that is accountable for ensuring that our employees are being supported in a manner that is consistent with best practices, policies and procedures outlined by PASS's Corporate People & Culture Department. In addition to day-to-day labour relations in compliance with several collective agreements within the Prairies Region, the Senior Advisor, Labour Relations is also responsible for the following functions:
Provide guidance and advice to management on disciplinary actions, terminations, and Federal employment laws and regulations across the regionCommunicate effectively with employees and management to identify problems and resolve conflictsConduct investigations in response to employee complaints and provide appropriate resolutionsWork closely with several cross functional departments across the regionPlay a key role supporting management in Grievance and Arbitration meetingsSupport the representation of management in the Collective Bargaining processDeliver coaching and training programs on the Collective Agreements, employee relations issues such as respectful workplace, conflict management, and harassmentEnsure compliance with federal employment laws and regulationsBe an expert and source of knowledge to others on the Collective AgreementsCollaborate with People & Culture Team to update and maintain the employee handbook and other HR policies and proceduresSupport the People & Culture Team with a variety of initiatives as requiredQualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in labour relations, human resources, or related fieldCPHR/CRHA designation is an asset5+ years of experience in labour relations or related fieldExperience in collective bargaining, grievance procedures, and dispute resolutionThorough knowledge of Federal labour laws and regulationsExperience working with labour unionsStrong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to acquire Transportation Security Clearance (TSC) and eligibility for Federal Security ClearanceTravel will be required to other airports in the region .Posting will be open until filled.
