Shipper/Receiver Lead

Canadian Beverage Supply Inc . - Mississauga, ON

We manufacture and distribute products to dispense beer, wine and carbonated water on tap. We supply customers across North America from our Mississauga location shipping products daily to our customers. Most people are never far from our products as they are in offices, restaurants, casinos, airports, hotels and stadiums.

Job Description:

The Shipping and Receiving Lead is responsible for the inflow and documentation of raw materials and the shipment of finished goods to customers. Integrity, reliability, strong work ethic, pride in your work, and a positive attitude are essential. Commitment to safety and attendance policies is required. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving abstract are also necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all orders are shipped accurately and on time.
  • Supervise and train team members, including part-time and temporary staff.
  • Coordinate carrier pickups and manage freight software (FedEx, 2Ship, etc.).
  • Inspect products for quality and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper documentation.
  • Operate forklifts safely
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area including ensuring sufficient supplies are on hand at all times.
  • Troubleshoot shipping challenges and implement process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with sales and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of shipping/receiving experience.
  • Forklift certification and experience.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving abstract, and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
