Overview

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing transactions, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience, familiarity with POS systems, and knowledge of food safety standards are highly valued. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent time management skills, and possess a strong understanding of food and beverage service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
  • Manage cash handling, process payments using POS systems such as Micros POS, and give correct change
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Assist with food service when required, including serving food items to guests
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and making accurate change
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
  • Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations
  • Hospitality experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
  • Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable based on local laws)
