  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and corrective actions on mechanical equipment

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical systems to minimize downtime
  • Participate in safety, maintenance, process, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with high-performing teams to resolve process-related issues
  • Execute tasks such as gearbox rebuilds, belt splicing, bearing replacements, motor alignments, pneumatic and hydraulic system maintenance, custom fabrication, and improvement projects

  • Willingness to work on a shift schedule is required

  • Red Seal Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certification with a community college/technical diploma preferred

  • 3–5 years of trade experience (asset)
  • Welding skills and/or qualifications (asset)
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Self-starter with sound decision-making skills in a collaborative setting
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is an asset
  • Electrical/automation aptitude and experience is considered an asset
