WHAT YOU'LL DO



As a DC HR Manager, you lead the DC HR team to foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. You will drive people strategy, support leaders, and ensure a strong employee lifecycle to attract, develop, and retain talent.

Strategic & Operational Leadership​

  • Lead the HR team by setting clear goals, managing workload distribution, and overseeing the DC HR budget in line with regional frameworks.​
  • Develop and lead the DC people strategy, driving team development and capability building across the employee lifecycle.​
  • Strategically partner with business leaders to implement and align HR strategies, solutions and practices with regional goals.​

Workforce Strategy & Planning

  • Continuously enhance onboarding programs and partner with leaders to plan training and cross-training, ensuring operational readiness, and efficient integration of new hires.​
  • Develop and execute strategic workforce plans for recruitment, succession, and talent development.

People Management & Team Development​

  • Partner with DC management team to support them lead, coach and develop their teams to retain a high-performing workforce.​
  • Drive employee engagement and foster a culture of inclusion and diversity.​
  • Support continual growth by aligning development, career progression, and succession planning with company goals and people strategy.

Specialised Operations & Administration​

  • Manage union and work council relations and negotiations, including local agreements, scheduling, contract structures, compensation and benefits.​
  • Lead change management activities and support leaders to adapt to organisational changes through effective communication.​
  • Performance Analysis & Decision Support​
  • Leverage HR metrics and analytics to support data-driven decisions-making and evaluate program effectiveness.

Compliance, Risk & Governance​

  • Oversee employee relations in the DC and deliver comprehensive guidance and support to leaders and team members, ensuring that all people-related matters are carried out in accordance with local labour laws, collective agreements and H&M standards.​

Health, Safety & Sustainability​

  • Champion occupational health and safety in collaboration with function managers, ensuring alignment with H&M group's approach to Human Rights.

WHO YOU ARE​

We are looking for people with…

  • Proven experience of developing and implementing HR strategies, goals and initiatives. ​
  • Experience in fostering and promoting a culture that drives company goals, targets, and strategic direction. ​
  • Expert in talent development, management and knowledge of retention strategies.​
  • Proven experience in change management, including guiding leaders through organisational transitions and transformations.​
  • Familiarity with HR metrics and data analytics for data-driven decision making.​
  • Experience in labour relations, including negotiations, grievances, and contract compliance.​
  • A resourceful and proactive problem-solver who sees challenges as opportunities and seeks innovative ways to deliver practical solutions.​
  • A strong communicator who can translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messages.​
  • Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and trust, empathy and care when dealing with sensitive topics or situations.​
  • Ability to turn long term objectives and vision into short term objectives and day to day execution. 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
