Shift Supervisor – Bradford & Vaughan Facilities

SPECTRA
is seeking a
Shift Supervisor
to support operations across our
Bradford and Vaughan facilities
.

Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, Health & Safety legislation, ISO standards, and quality requirements. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to work independently in a multi-shift manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising daily shift operations to meet production, quality, and delivery targets
  • Ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and internal Health & Safety policies
  • Training, coaching, and supporting employees in accordance with Spectra procedures
  • Planning manpower, scheduling work, and supporting estimating activities
  • Coordinating logistics and workflow between departments and facilities
  • Communicating operational issues, staffing needs, and production status to management
  • Enforcing company policies, procedures, and ISO-aligned work standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including off-shifts, as operationally required
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Spectra facilities as required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
