Some of what you will do:

The Mobile Operations Specialist partners with stores, external and internal stakeholders to allow them to work smarter, learn more and grow every day. This role provides effective and efficient support to the Manager, Mobile Services by administering and executing various Operations programs in the telecom space. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that translates complex technical information into accessible content for a variety of audiences. This includes manuals, guides, FAQs, SOPs and internal knowledge bases.

Specifically, You Will:

  • Gather stakeholder feedback and recommend program improvements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and maintain SOPs and documentation.
  • Create, edit, and proofread content for clarity and consistency; manage documentation lifecycle

and version control.
- Liaise with AP team to analyze fraud/clawback trends and support pricing and communication

strategies for Staples Wireless.
- Assist Retail Ops with store initiatives and services deployment.
- Maintain vendor relationships and support inventory, SKU creation, RTVs, and billing

reconciliation.
- Contribute to product assortment, pricing, and channel strategies; ensure merchandising aligns

with the customer journey.
- Update performance reports and supply order lists.
- Support off-site events and conduct store visits.
- Lead IT-related business projects in relation to system enhancement initiatives
- Monitor business performance and recommend improvements.
Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.

Some of what you need:

  • Post-Secondary Education
  • 2-5 years in a operations role within the wireless industry is an asset
  • 2-5 years working in a retail environment
  • 1-3 years experience in SKU management
  • 1-3 years experience in creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures
  • 1-2 years experience in technical writing preferred
  • Previous retail operations experience is required, preferably within the wireless space.
  • Very strong written communication skills, customer service and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Experience using Word and Excel is required, experience with Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe
  • Photoshop and Access is required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative ideas on program improvements.
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Strong analytical skills are required
