Key Responsibilities**
- Configure new and refurbished smartphones for customers
- Install, test, troubleshoot and diagnose software and hardware related issues
- Meet daily production deadlines as assigned by the Configuration Scheduler
- Communicate with technical support staff to resolve technical issues
- Propose solutions and ideas that simplify partners' cellular environment
- Utilize social media presence to establish leadership in simplifying cellular service delivery and optimize spend
- Collaborate with team to deliver service that 'wow' customers
- Follow ISO procedures outlined in Valet's Quality Management System
Skills & Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Electronics or a related IT program
- Minimum 1 year Wireless industry experience, which includes but is not limited to refurbishing, setup and imaging experience
- A desire to learn and grow your career
- Fast learner; Proactive self-starter
- Exceptional email communication skills
- Knowledge of cell phones and carrier plans
- Ability to follow instructions with minimal guidance; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail; proven track record of delivering quality work based on precision workmanship.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Able to lift independently a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of carrier activation procedures, specifically Rogers, would be an asset
