Overview I am seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer assistant to join Goochie Poochie Pet Spa...The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing professional grooming services that ensure pets look and feel their best while delivering a positive experience for pet owners. Candidates should be comfortable with physical activity, including heavy lifting, and committed to maintaining high standards of care and safety.

Duties

  • Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to prepare for groomer
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary bathing /drying area
  • Providing exceptional customer service by consulting with pet owners about grooming preferences and special needs
  • Handling pets gently and safely throughout the bathing /drying process
  • Managing appointment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery

Experience

  • Prior experience working with animals
  • training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting of pets or equipment as needed (up to 100 pounds)
  • Compassionate attitude towards animals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
