Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Sustainable Water and Wastewater Practice Lead to join our Canadian Water Group. We are looking to grow our team of skilled project managers, engineers and technical specialists within our Canadian Resilience group. You will oversee our industrial water and wastewater projects in the industrial, oil and gas and mining sectors, providing technical leadership and mentorship to staff. You will also be instrumental in delivering projects to key Arcadis clients, throughout Canada and also play a key role in expanding our business to key and emerging clients
Role accountabilities:
The successful candidate will direct technical staff, lead programs and projects and will ensure compliance with the provincial/federal regulations while liaising and building relationships with key and emerging clients, federal, provincial, and municipal officials and professionals. You will work closely with our Growth Team to identify opportunities, prepare proposals and support overall business development. Key accountabilities include:
· Spearheading pursuits, creating winning delivery strategies, fee projections to achieve financial targets of the business, and creating the most advantageous delivery approach
· Taking responsibility for financial and project management controls which enable monitoring, modification and forecasting as appropriate
· Managing the acquisition, deployment, and optimization of resources for the project
· Driving timely service delivery including technical and commercial outcomes and undertaking reviews, ensuring delivery is above client expectation.
· Apply your understanding of regulatory and permitting requirements for a variety of jurisdictions
· Provide the highest quality of service to our clients by possessing exceptional technical and managerial skills in the design, construction, and operations of wastewater facilities and related infrastructure
Qualifications & Experience:
The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance planning, design, construction, operation and compliance monitoring with industrial clients. You should also have experience managing and directing staff. Other key qualifications include:
· Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada
· Master's degree in civil engineering with water/wastewater treatment specialization preferred
· Experience with industrial and First Nations projects would be an asset.
· Project Management experience. PMP designation would be an asset.
· Excellent communication skills

The salary range for this position is $139,000-189,000.. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
