Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Mobile yard and service call work
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of electrical systems
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostics, testing and repair of components on transport trailers and refrigeration equipment and heaters
  • Preventative maintenance and pre-trip inspections
  • Testing systems for freon leaks, repairing and replacing components as necessary
  • General maintenance and PM services
  • Utilization of refrigeration equipment to test and charge freon systems
  • Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
  • Accurately entering and updating information in the maintenance software through the use of state-of-the-art web-based tablet system
  • Communicating effectively with co-workers, customers and service managers
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years' experience in transport refrigeration repairs and/or truck, trailer technician repair experience
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing
  • Ozone Depletion Certificate preferred
  • Own tools and storage device
  • Good written and communication skills
