Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Mobile yard and service call work
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of electrical systems
- Troubleshooting, diagnostics, testing and repair of components on transport trailers and refrigeration equipment and heaters
- Preventative maintenance and pre-trip inspections
- Testing systems for freon leaks, repairing and replacing components as necessary
- General maintenance and PM services
- Utilization of refrigeration equipment to test and charge freon systems
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
- Accurately entering and updating information in the maintenance software through the use of state-of-the-art web-based tablet system
- Communicating effectively with co-workers, customers and service managers
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years' experience in transport refrigeration repairs and/or truck, trailer technician repair experience
- Valid Driver's License in good standing
- Ozone Depletion Certificate preferred
- Own tools and storage device
- Good written and communication skills
