KERN BSG Management Ltd. is a full mechanical contractor located in Burnaby, BC, operating throughout the Lower Mainland. We have been in business for 21 years and are proud of the family atmosphere in our mid-sized company. We work in the commercial and industrial sector.

We are currently looking for an experienced Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air-conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools
  • Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Startup systems and test for leaks using testing devices
  • Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing

  • Experience in service an asset
  • Clear driving record
  • Clear criminal background check
  • Electrical Endorsement ticket
  • Gas B Ticket
  • Red Seal HVAC ticket
  • Great attitude, customer service skills, neat appearance
  • Commercial construction skills an asset, but not required
