Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems and equipment across various operational areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with computer hardware and networking. Duties
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electronic systems and equipment.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Install, configure, and support computer networking systems and computer hardware components.
- Use hand tools to assemble, repair, or modify electronic devices and circuits.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure low voltage systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to improve system performance and reliability.
- Document repair procedures, system configurations, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Assist in upgrading existing systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience with computer networking, hardware, and low voltage systems.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic and electrical systems.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks on complex electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and installation procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in electronics or related fields are preferred but not required.
