**Responsibilities**
- Analyze and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electronic systems
- Perform repairs and maintenance on computer networking equipment
- Utilize hand tools to diagnose and repair electronic components
- Work with low voltage systems ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Maintain and repair computer hardware components
- **Develop and deliver STEM based lessons**, with a focus on electronics, robotics, and related fields.
- Lead hands-on projects and activities that engage students in critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
- Mentor and guide students through STEM projects, fostering their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and educational objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Education, or a related STEM field.
- Proven experience as an electronic technician, with hands-on skills in circuit design and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to repair complex electronics.
- Knowledge of soldering techniques and assembly of electronic components.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in an electronics lab.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for students.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in interpreting and maintaining electronic schematics
- Knowledge of computer networking systems
- Ability to effectively use a variety of hand tools for repairs
- Understanding of low voltage systems and safety practices
- **STEM teaching experience**, particularly in practical and hands-on environments such as workshops or classrooms.
- Experience with **solar power systems**, **power supplies**, and **charging systems**.
- Experience in **robotics, automation, or industrial electronics**.

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $22.10-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
