About Us:

Relieve-Me Home Support Services specializes in providing high-quality, skilled support for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities (DD/IDD). We serve clients from children to adults (18+), focusing on personalized in-home and community-based care tailored to each individual's unique needs.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking experienced independent contractors with backgrounds as:

  • Developmental Support Workers (DSW) — professionals trained to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living and community integration
  • Educational Assistants (EA)
  • Early Childhood Educators (ECE)
  • Educators with experience working with DD/IDD populations

This opportunity is NOT for Personal Support Workers (PSW) unless you have specialized training in developmental disabilities.

Role Details:

  • Provide direct support to clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities
  • Assist clients with daily living skills, community outings, educational support, and personal development
  • Work independently under individualized care plans
  • Flexible, casual, on-call shifts with possible ongoing contracts
  • No guaranteed hours—schedule based on client needs and your availability
  • Work as an independent contractor

Qualifications:

  • Relevant certification or experience as a DSW, EA, ECE, or Educator with DD/IDD experience
  • Experience working with children and adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varied client needs
  • Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach
  • Must provide your own transportation and be willing to travel within service areas
