The Opportunity

The role is exclusively for individuals in the GTA with requirements to be in the office once a week. Accrue is an Amazon-specialized growth agency dedicated to helping established brands navigate and dominate the marketplace. Following a successful pilot phase in 2025, we are expanding our outbound operations to reach new categories and territories. We are looking for a disciplined, high-performing Business Development Representative to serve as the front-line ambassador of our brand and the primary engine of our 2026 growth strategy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Prospecting:
    You will manage top-of-funnel outreach, maintaining a consistent daily volume of 80+ outbound calls to a curated list of high-intent brands.
  • Lead Qualification & Discovery:
    You will lead initial introductory meetings to assess brand health and fit. Using a structured discovery framework, you will qualify prospects based on organizational needs, marketplace challenges, and growth timing.
  • Data-Led Consultations:
    Rather than standard outreach, you will lead with insights. You will leverage our internal data tools to present high-level "teasers" of category trends and market share gaps to prospects during the discovery phase.
  • Trade Show Intelligence:
    You will play a critical role in our event strategy for 10+ major annual trade shows across the US and Canada. This includes pre-event exhibitor audits, specialized outreach, and coordinating high-value meetings for agency leadership.
  • Strategic Hand-off:
    You will be responsible for transitioning highly qualified opportunities to Sales Lead, ensuring all discovery data and custom audit requirements are seamlessly communicated.

    You possess the discipline required to maintain a high-frequency outreach cadence and thrive in a performance-driven environment.
  • Analytic Capability:
    You are comfortable interpreting data. While you don't need to be an Amazon expert on day one, you must be able to navigate category reports and translate data points into a compelling narrative for prospects.
  • Strategic Communicator:
    You can navigate conversations with mid-to-senior level brand executives, asking the rigorous questions necessary to qualify a lead while maintaining a consultative tone.
  • Resilient & Professional:
    You understand that outbound sales is a process of volume and timing. You maintain a professional demeanor through all stages of the prospect journey.
  • Experience:
    2–4 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or a similar high-activity role (Agency or SaaS experience is preferred).
