About the role:

The role of Sourcing and Contracts Operation Specialist is responsible for providing purchasing and coordination support to contracts, Capital purchases, manage and support end users in the use of requisitioning and supply chain processes. This role also entails supporting Shared Service Organization reconciliations, administrative duties as required and providing Request for Proposal support and to the Manager of Materials Management which may include leading RFQ, RFI and RFP initiatives.

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary education (community college) in business or a relevant field
  • CPP, CSMP, or OIPMAC-Purchasing certification or equivalent
  • 2-3 years' experience in a Healthcare purchasing and strategic sourcing environment
  • Proficient Microsoft applications experience
  • Project management and conflict resolution training
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Demonstrated knowledge of McKesson's Pathways Material Management an asset
