Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Specialist, based in Newmarket, ON. The Information Technology Specialist will oversee network administration, maintain network security, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide exceptional customer service. Day-to-day tasks include installing, configuring, and maintaining IT systems, managing IT infrastructure, and collaborating with teams to resolve technology challenges effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Network Administration and Information Technology
  • Strong skills in Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring operational efficiency
  • Experience in Network Security to implement and maintain robust protection systems
  • Excellent Customer Service abilities for on-site user support and communication
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
