Overview

We are seeking an experienced
BizTalk Integration Developer
to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions within a Microsoft-based integration environment. This role will focus on building and maintaining secure, reliable integrations between business systems, applications, and external partners.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with
Microsoft BizTalk Server
and enterprise integration patterns, and is comfortable working closely with both business and technical stakeholders throughout the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, deploy, and support integration applications using Microsoft BizTalk Server
  • Build integration solutions that meet business requirements while maintaining data integrity and adhering to established standards and best practices
  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation
  • Collaborate with business teams, project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Develop integrations involving web services/APIs, file and FTP transfers, database interactions, workflows, and secure authentication mechanisms
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and performance-tune integration applications and environments to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Complete assigned development and maintenance activities, including service requests, releases, incidents, problem resolution, and documentation
  • Work directly with stakeholders to define requirements and present technical solutions
  • Analyze existing integration solutions and update or create supporting documentation
  • Produce solution documentation using established templates and standards
  • Review developed solutions and support knowledge transfer to internal integration teams

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or a diploma/certification in Information Technology from a recognized institution
  • (An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
  • Minimum
    5 years of IM/IT experience
  • Minimum
    3 years of hands-on experience developing integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server (2013, 2016, or newer)
  • Strong experience designing and implementing integrations involving:
  • Web services and APIs
  • File and FTP-based integrations
  • Database interactions
  • Workflow orchestration
  • Secure authentication mechanisms
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with business and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) for requirements elicitation and process definition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to Have / Assets

  • Experience integrating BizTalk solutions with
    ERP systems
  • Experience with
    Microsoft Azure Integration Services
    , including:
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure API Management
  • Experience migrating on-premises BizTalk solutions to cloud-based or iPaaS environments
