is seeking a strategic and driven
Director of Distribution
to oversee the release and audience reach of our film and media projects across festivals, streaming platforms, and broadcast outlets. This role requires strong business acumen, exceptional negotiation and communication skills, and a deep understanding of how stories connect with audiences in today's evolving media landscape.

The Director of Distribution will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive distribution plans that align with both the creative vision and financial goals of each production. This includes coordinating festival submissions, managing release schedules, and securing distribution deals with partners, aggregators, and platforms to ensure maximum visibility and fair revenue opportunities. Working closely with the CMO, Producers, and Marketing team, the Director of Distribution will play a key role in shaping each project's release strategy, from early positioning to final delivery.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining relationships with distributors and festival programmers, tracking performance metrics, and identifying emerging markets and partnership opportunities. The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, and business-minded, with experience in film distribution, marketing, or media sales, and a passion for storytelling and independent cinema.

This position currently operates on an unpaid or project-based basis, with opportunities to transition into a paid role as G88 Films expands its production slate. The role offers an exciting opportunity to influence how audiences experience G88's original content and to contribute to the growth of an innovative, mission-driven film company dedicated to bold and meaningful storytelling.
