Fulfillment & Distribution Associate

Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Fulfillment & Distribution Associate upholds the customer service vision, Spirit of Math values, and culture of the brand making the customer a priority of every interaction. This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent customer service and sales skills to support the daily operations of the ecommerce, B2B, B2C, ordering packaging and shipping, books & materials sales process, accurate order handling, inventory control, compliance, and all other necessary requirements. This position fully supports customer experience in the form of to-go orders/order-ahead, ecommerce fulfilment, and supports the Corporate and Franchises Campus.

The ideal candidate must not only possess the required excellent technical & communication skills, but also character traits that will allow her/him to succeed in a fast-paced business environment.
Decision-Making Ability:
This individual should be able to complete tasks that could take up to 6 to 9 months to execute. The successful applicants must also be client orientated, hardworking, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadline

Skilled Knowledge & Experience:
- At least two years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficient with Quickbooks
- Must be a graduate of formal education in Accounting or Finance
- Must have at least two years of experience working as the sole fulfillment and distribution
- Strong attention to detail and organization
Education:
- A degree or diploma from a recognized college or university.
- A diploma/degree with coursework in accounting is required.
- 1-2 years ecommerce experience would be an asset
Responsibilities:
- Leading and executing the daily order fulfillment eCommerce duties
- Picking and packing orders, including maneuvering merchandise.
- Materials orders with care.
- Ensuring that established standards of order fulfillment, maintenance and productivity are being achieved
- Ensuring that operational procedures are being followed
- Maintain a culture of high-quality customer service and customer communication.
- Ensure orders and materials are accurately order according to Spirit of Math curriculum and efficiently placed into the correct packing station for outbound distribution
- Loading and unloading of product
- Assemble book orders from stock and place orders to internal and external customers
- Assisting with warehouse organization, labeling, shelves, boxes as required
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined Grades such as Grades, weeks, Drills books etc.
- Manage inventory in the computer program.
- Maintains accuracy of physical inventory.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
- Maintain overall ecommerce cleanliness,
- Assist shipping and receiving, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing for processing
- Comfortable stepping in and assisting wherever necessary, packing shipments boxes etc.
- Proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
- Comfortable communicating with a wide range of team members.
- Follow all established policy and safety guidelines. Maintaining a healthy and safe environment
- Adhere to all company-wide policies, customer service vision, company values, store processes procedures, and requirements.
- Notify Manager about any customer or product concerns/complaints.
- Other duties assigned by the Manager
- Responsible for completing all the bookkeeping activities for fulfillment.
- Comply with company policies and perform daily responsibilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Daily compliance with Canadian laws including but not limited to the following: federal/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, and work schedules.
- Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Attendance to Head Quarters is expected and is considered an essential function as it is necessary for the efficient of Spirit of Math Schools Inc.
- Ad Hoc duties as assigned.
