Job Description
The
Purchasing Coordinator
is a key player in Techo-Bloc's global sourcing strategy. You'll support buyers, manage vendor relationships, handle quotation requests, and occasionally place and track purchase orders for non-inventoried items—ensuring timely delivery across our sites.

Working closely with R&D, Procurement, Production, and Customer Service, you'll manage product data in our ERP, track projects, and help optimize sourcing decisions. You'll also develop vendor partnerships, negotiate contracts, and provide insights on industry trends to deliver the best value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with vendors and internal teams to coordinate sourcing and product needs;
• Issue purchase orders and manage ERP data;
• Track projects, intercompany product movements, and procurement KPIs;
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and recommend sourcing options;
• Share product information and insights across teams;

Make an impact by streamlining operations, building vendor relationships, and supporting Techo-Bloc's global sourcing excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or product management role;
• 1+ years' vendor relations and contract negotiation;
• Previous demonstrable / autonomous experience with researching and qualifying and selecting leads for a project;
• Experience working within an ERP system (SAP or Microsoft AX is preferred);
• Use of Microsoft office suite (Microsoft Office Suite: Teams, Excel, etc.);
• Bilingualism (French/English) - Due to frequent communication with employees in Quebec, Ontario and the United States.
