Quick Inc is a trusted provider of residential appliance services. We pride ourselves on high-quality workmanship, professionalism, and excellent customer service. As our service volume grows, we are seeking an experienced Licensed (G2) Gas Technician to work with us as an independent contractor.

Position Overview

We're looking for a skilled, reliable Gas Technician with strong experience in gas appliance diagnostic, repair and installation. This is an independent contractor role. 2 person teams are also a welcome asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain gas-fired appliances (water heaters, stoves, dryers, etc.)
  • Install/ Repair gas appliances and related systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and code requirements
  • Conduct safety inspections, leak tests, and system performance checks
  • Provide professional, courteous service to customers
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards

Contractor Requirements

  • Registered with T.S.S.A and hold a valid G2 Natural Gas License
  • Must carry current liability insurance (mandatory)
  • Must have valid WSIB coverage (mandatory)
  • Reliable truck/ van and your own tools, safety equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Must be fluent in English
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
