RATE OF PAY: $18.10 per hour

Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC) is an Agency of the Province of Ontario that provides efficient and vital transportation services. We are a modern, forward-thinking organization focused on providing safe and reliable transportation services. ONTC has a rich history of over 120 years and strong connections to the communities we serve. With over 900 skilled professionals, we work together to enhance transportation services and ensure that they are sustainable for future generations.

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Cleaning/washing of fleet equipment, coaches, parts and shop facilities
  • Follows prescribed safety procedures including the use of safety clothing and equipment
  • Janitorial duties as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Summer Term: May to September (4 months)
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be at least 15 years old prior to starting date and enrolled in full-time school
  • Preference given to students enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program, entering or finishing full-time post-secondary studies in 2026
  • Ability to work shift work
  • Must be able to work full-time hours
  • Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Works independently with little supervision
  • Previous cleaning/labour experience an asset
  • Must be committed to Health and Safety
