Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Specialist to support a large-scale SharePoint modernization initiative, migrating from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. The successful candidate will design and develop scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, streamline business processes, and enhance collaboration across the enterprise environment.

Tasks

Develop scalable SharePoint Online solutions using Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and efficient technical solutions.

Integrate Power Apps with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, and other data sources as needed.

Design intuitive user interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience and productivity.

Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) within Power Platform environment pipelines.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and security best practices.

Analyze existing SharePoint 2016 InfoPath forms, SharePoint Designer 2010/2013 workflows, client-side JavaScript code, Nintex forms/workflows, and custom configurations to determine migration and redesign strategies.

Produce detailed as-built architectural documentation to support system design and maintenance.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to end-users and internal project teams.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in SharePoint (2016/Online) and Microsoft Power Platform development.

Proven ability to design and implement Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards.

Experience migrating legacy workflows and InfoPath forms to modern Power Platform solutions.

Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and system integration principles.

Knowledge of ALM, source control, and deployment pipelines within Power Platform environments.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Experience

Candidates should have experience with the following technologies and practices:

  • Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab for version control.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with web services (REST APIs) and enterprise software architectures (Microservices).
  • Experience with system administration on Linux/UNIX environments (CentOS, Ubuntu) as well as Windows Server.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN configurations.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Go, C#, or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
