Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on automotive repair and bodywork. Prior dealership experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued, along with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and refinish vehicle bodies following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to perform repairs efficiently
  • Assess vehicle damage and determine the best repair approach
  • Remove damaged panels, straighten frames, and replace parts as needed
  • Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations

Requirements

  • Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
  • Experience working with automotive paint and bodywork is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Physical ability to lift heavy components and perform manual tasks for extended periods
