Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Chiropractic Assistant to join our healthcare team which includes Chiropractors and an on site Nurse Practitioner. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the medical field and health care field to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, a strong multitasker, compassionate, and eager to assist in providing exceptional patient care. Prior knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to ensure effective communication and understanding within the clinical setting.

Duties

  • Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures to ensure a smooth patient flow
  • Prepare treatment rooms and assist chiropractors during patient examinations and procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including documenting treatments and progress notes
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care and answer basic questions about procedures
  • Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up appointments to optimize clinic operations
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and office spaces
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and maintaining inventory of supplies

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or chiropractic setting is a plus but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare certifications are advantageous
  • Professional attitude, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.37-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
