Commercial Roofing Coordinator - Burnaby, BC

Duron Specialty Contracting Group Ltd. is currently looking for a Coordinator to join our Commercial Roofing Division located in Burnaby, BC Antrim Ave, Burnaby, BC V5J 4M4

What You'll Be Doing and With Who:

This individual will be responsible for providing operational project & administration support for the execution of both our new and replacement roofing projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Core Responsibilities will include:

· Continuously update and maintain the companies project management software

· Support the Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Estimators

· Prepare, input, track, and close out all Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, Subcontract Change Orders, and Project Change Orders

· Communicate and liaison with all vendors and subcontractors.

· Place and track orders with vendors and subcontractors and track to operations.

· Update and track all jobsite deliveries. Ensure updates are properly communicated to the project team through the appropriate channels

· Review invoices against purchase orders and packing slips documents to verify receipt of items ordered and correct pricing

· Interact and work to resolve billing invoice and credit discrepancies with vendors and subcontractors

· Follow up with external and internal parties on the status and approval of delinquent invoices

· Compiling, organizing, and submitting project start-up and close-out submittals

· Ordering and tracking project & bid bonds, WorkSafe Clearance letters, Certificate of Insurances, CCDC's, and other generic project documents

· Maintain both physical and electronic files and/or organizational system and archives documents

· Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its business partners

  • Prior office/administrative experience is considered an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organization and time management skills are essential
  • Excellent computer skills – including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starting and enjoy working in fast-paced work environments
