Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Commercial Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of our commercial property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with property management systems. This role involves coordinating maintenance, tenant relations, leasing activities, and ensuring the overall smooth functioning of properties to maximize value and tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure properties are well-maintained.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and filing of property records, tenant information, and financial documents.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly with professional phone etiquette.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to attract new tenants and retain existing ones through excellent customer service.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as billing, rent collection, and reporting using property management software.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and service providers to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with property regulations.
  • Travel will be required between Calgary, RedDeer and Edmonton.

Skills

  • Proficiency in some type of property management software such as Yardi, Spectra etc.
  • Strong office experience with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
  • Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Experience in property management or real estate sales is highly desirable.
  • Negotiation skills for vendor contracts.
  • Ability to manage customer relationships effectively through CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems for maintenance scheduling and tracking.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple properties simultaneously. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,565.26-$108,430.18 per year
