Automotive Service Adviser

The Service Advisor plays a key role in making sure every customer receives prompt, courteous, and effective service. Serving as the communication bridge between customers and technicians, the Advisor recommends necessary repairs provided by the technicians, coordinates scheduled maintenance visits, and thoroughly records customer concerns on the repair order. When the work is complete, the Advisor goes over the final service details with the customer to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
Candidates must possess:
Valid driver's license/clean driving record
Minimum 2+ plus service advisor experience in automotive field
High school diploma
Basic automotive knowledge
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in person or over the phone in a professional and welcoming manner
Understand and document customer vehicle concerns accurately
Create repair orders and obtain customer approvals for work to be done
Communicate with technicians to relay vehicle issues and ensure efficient workflow
Explain recommended services, pricing, and timelines clearly and confidently
Follow up with customers on repair progress and notify them when work is completed
Handle payments and provide detailed invoices
Maintain customer records and vehicle histories
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Parts ordering, scheduling, and general shop operations as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
