Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and mechanical systems, with experience working in dealership environments preferred. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing advanced tools and diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. The position requires a detail-oriented professional committed to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized schematics to disassemble and assemble vehicle parts accurately
- Weld and perform mechanical modifications as needed for repairs or upgrades
- Lift heavy components safely using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data to identify issues efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly to clients
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and software
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for customer interactions and teamwork
- Certification or ASE certification is a plus but not mandatory
