Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Park Derochie is a leader in industrial blasting, coatings, fireproofing, scaffolding, and insulation services. Park Derochie has a long history of executing large-scale Oil & Gas, Power & Forestry Facilities, Mining, Pulp and Paper, Bridges and other Industrial Construction Projects. As a continued presents in Northern BC after playing a large role in LNG Canada we are looking to further expand our presence in the region. We are proud of our many Indigenous partnerships across Canada and our commitment to workforce development through extensive apprenticeship programs.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to be based in the Prince Rupert area, responsible for driving growth in the northern BC region. This role requires someone well-connected in the community, with a strong understanding of the local business environment, and the ability to represent Park Derochie with professionalism and integrity.
The successful candidate will focus on expanding our client base, strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying opportunities to grow our business in the region.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute strategies to grow business within the Industrial Construction Section as mentioned above.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the Northern BC region.
- Represent the company at local industry events, networking functions, and community engagements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to help shape business strategies.
What You Need To Have
- Must reside in the Prince Rupert region.
- Strong knowledge of the regional industry and local business landscape.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or client relations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
