Are you detail-oriented and passionate about organization and exceptional customer service? Alternate Starts is looking for a Parts/Desk Clerk to join our dynamic team at our brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Timmins.

As a Parts/Desk Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations at the parts desk and providing top-notch service to our customers. This role involves managing inventory, assisting with customer inquiries, and coordinating with the service department to keep things running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:

  • Assist customers with inquiries, orders, and returns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate information about parts availability, pricing, and compatibility.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and efficiently.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the team of stock needs.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of parts and supplies.

Clerical Support:

  • Process sales, returns, and orders accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory, orders, and transactions.
  • Collaborate with the service team to meet customer needs effectively.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with coworkers to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in parts desk operations or inventory management is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • French proficiency is not required but is considered an asset.
