Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly within an automotive dealership setting.

Responsibilities

  • order fulfillment for parts and supplies.
  • Process sales transactions using POS systems and handle cash transactions with precision.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and specifications.
  • Maintain organized records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the service department to support automotive repair needs.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service through effective phone etiquette and negotiation skills.

Skills

  • Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in retail sales practices and cash handling procedures.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes is advantageous.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for effective customer interaction.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
