Our new division, Thatchwood Mechanical, continues that same commitment to excellence. We provide truck and trailer repair, CVIP inspections, preventative maintenance, and mechanical services for both internal and external customers.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Field Sales Representative to drive the next phase of growth for both Thatchwood Ventures and Thatchwood Mechanical. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on relationship building, opportunity development, and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for environmental hauling, remediation, and mechanical service markets
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new contracts with oil and gas producers, drilling contractors, consulting firms, and industrial clients
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, Indigenous partners, and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Conduct market analysis, rate comparisons, and competitor reviews to inform pricing and strategy
  • Represent Thatchwood at client meetings, industry events, and job sites

Qualifications

  • Proven success in sales or business development in the transportation, oilfield, or environmental sectors
  • Strong understanding of drilling waste transportation, remediation, or logistics operations (experience in the field is an asset)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Professional, motivated, and results-driven approach
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally
