Role Description

We're looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy HR Specialist to join our team at our head office in Sainte-Sophie, Québec. This role combines day-to-day HR operations with the improvement of HR systems and processes. You'll be a trusted business partner for managers and employees, helping build and scale our HR function as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as a trusted partner to employees and managers on all HR matters, including onboarding, performance management, benefits, and policy interpretation.

· Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

· Lead or support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of the HRIS system.

· Streamline and automate HR processes to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.

· Contribute to HR projects that drive employee engagement, culture, and organizational effectiveness.

· Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 3–5 years of progressive HR experience (including generalist responsibilities and HRIS management).

· Experience implementing or optimizing HR systems (Workday, ADP, BambooHR, Dayforce, or similar).

· Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and compliance requirements.

· Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and HR data analysis tools.

· Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

· Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
