About the Role

Reporting to the
Director of Human Resources
, the
Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
plays a key role in driving people and culture initiatives across the organization. You'll provide hands-on HR support while acting as a strategic partner to management, ensuring alignment between business goals and our people strategy.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with the Director of HR on key initiatives and organizational development.
  • Coach and advise managers on performance, engagement, and employee relations.
  • Champion change management and culture-building initiatives.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment - from posting to offer.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels and ensure an excellent candidate experience.
  • Lead onboarding and integration programs for new hires.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance.
  • Oversee leaves, return-to-work processes, and government reporting (CNESST, OQLF, WSIB).
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll

  • Support compensation reviews, pay equity projects, and benefits administration.
  • Provide HR data and reporting to payroll and management.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions and track outcomes.
  • Support career development and succession planning efforts.

HR Operations & Analytics

  • Maintain HR policies, communications, and employee documentation.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support immigration, terminations, and exit interviews.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law (Quebec & Ontario; other provinces or U.S. an asset).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in
    English and French
    .
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Assets:
    CHRP designation and knowledge of payroll processes.
