Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

We are recruiting for Female Support Workers to support 3 ladies who share their home in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities but this hasn't stopped them from enjoying life  They enjoy lots of activities, including gardening, arts and crafts, puzzles, going to the theatre and concerts and going for spa days. Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes. This can include:
• Supporting them with medication
• Cooking
• Assisting with personal care and mobility
• Maintaining the homes of people supported and managing their finances.  Our team provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so we are looking for some flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends and sleepovers. We are looking for a Full time  Support Workers for 30 hours per week and our ideal candidate would hold a full UK driving license, as the ladies we support love to go out for a drive. One of the values of Community Integrated Care is our passion for our people and every year we invest in our front-line worker pay in line with the Living Wage increase each April. Typical shifts include 10am till sleepover at the service am), 7am-10.00am, 7am - 1500, , 5 hour shift depends on the need of the Service unless evening activity), waking nights.
