Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our transportation team for CANADA-USA RUNS. This role involves operating commercial vehicles over long distances to deliver freight safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment operation, and the ability to handle freight with care. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring timely deliveries across various locations while maintaining safety standards and vehicle integrity.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment for long-distance freight transportation
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Ensure all cargo is secured properly for transit to prevent damage or accidents
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, noting any maintenance issues or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with company policies
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Must have a valid US visa
- Experience preferred (long-haul and cross-border experience is an asset)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance

Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably in long-haul or freight transportation
- Familiarity with forklift operation and freight handling procedures
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair is a plus
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Prior experience with long-distance routes and navigation across multiple states preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
