Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions across multiple platforms. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with diverse accounting software and contribute to the financial health of our organization. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting tools, and a solid understanding of financial processes.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and AccountRight.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to verify accuracy of financial data.
- Conduct auditing procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Assist with payroll processing, including calculations and tax filings.
- Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
- Support budgeting activities by preparing financial forecasts and variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure data integrity across all systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams on financial analysis, reporting, and audit preparations.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within a corporate finance environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms is required; experience with multiple systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and bookkeeping practices.
- Familiarity with auditing procedures and financial services regulations.
- Experience with payroll management and budgeting processes is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new accounting software tools and systems. This position is ideal for candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute their expertise in a dynamic finance environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,337.05-$68,246.07 per year
