As an Account Manager your roll will be to develop new customer relationships and maintains contact with established customers for the purpose of marketing, promoting, and selling City Electric Supply products. This person regularly interacts with new prospects and existing customers at the customer's site of business or other off-site locations. Work with other branches to ensure customers from across the network receive a consistently high level of service.

Essential Job Functions

• Preform regular and scheduled calls on assigned accounts.
• Provide assistance and product support to customer in a timely manner.
• Promote Robertson Electric by ensuring each account receives product line card and other company literature made available to you.
• Stay up to date on market trends and new products to promote Robertson's Suppliers to multiple accounts in a knowledgeable manner.
• Stay attuned to performance of accounts using tools provided.
• Coordinates, lead and attend scheduled sales meetings.
• Attend manufacturers training when provided. This may be after business hours on some occasions.
• Work together with sales team to ensure projects are quoted and tracked accurately in order to meet established timelines.
• Work together with Management to set monthly targets in your territory,
• Ensure that approved sales and action plan is followed and accomplished.
• Work with the credit department in the collection of accounts receivable, and to cooperate in adhering to the company's credit policy.
• Perform special projects as requested.

Education/Experience

• Electrical wholesale and Sales experience of minimum of 2 year is required.
• Valid driver's license, required.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
