Overview

ALL IN Contracting is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to handle hands on work for residential renovation projects across Waterloo Region. This role focuses on demo, framing, blocking, backing and finish trim. We need someone reliable who works clean, understands renovation sequencing and can keep the site organized while taking direction from the Foreman, who manages day to day site leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Complete interior demo safely and efficiently
  • Frame walls, doors and small structural components
  • Install backing, blocking and prep for other trades
  • Install finish trim, casing, baseboards and doors
  • Maintain a clean, organized and professional jobsite
  • Follow drawings, scopes and layout direction from the Foreman
  • Communicate material needs or onsite issues
  • Work independently and stay productive throughout the day
  • Prepare sites properly for incoming subcontractors
  • Ensure high quality workmanship and attention to detail

Skills and Requirements

  • 5 plus years residential carpentry and renovation experience
  • Strong framing and finish trim skills
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Reliable, organized and detail focused
  • Valid drivers licence and reliable transportation
  • Ability to read drawings and understand renovation sequencing
  • Comfortable using a phone for photos and quick updates
  • Physically capable of demo and carpentry tasks
