Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and facilities maintenance, along with strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming in designated areas.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for cleaning tasks and minor maintenance.
  • Conduct commercial cleaning in various settings, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Assist in heavy lifting of equipment or materials as required during cleaning operations.
  • Maintain an organized supply inventory and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.

Experience

  • Previous custodial experience or kitchen is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and colleagues.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
