Our clients trust us to work safe, act with integrity, and provide a very professional service, mostly in residential setttings. We are seeking a Technician Assistant to join our team that can meet these expectations .

This role is essential in supporting our technicians with various tasks related to our building envelope sealing (AeroBarrier), air duct sealing (Aeroseall), as well as our radon mitigation services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively and safely with hand tools. Exposure to plumbing, residential construction, or duct systems would be considered a strong asset but red seal not required.

This position, at times, is physically demanding. At times wearing a respirator is requried - Candidate must pass a respirator fit test.

Occasional travel within the provience is expected.

Submission of driving record and criminal background check is requried.

Duties

  • Safely drive to various work sites
  • Assist Aerobarrier technician during the prep of houses for air sealing, the application of the AeroBarrier system, and demoblization.
  • Assist Aeroseal technician during the preperation of duct systems, the application of the AeroSeal system, and demobilization.
  • Assist the certified radon mitigators with the testing, design, and installation of radon mitigation systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Skills

  • Professionally engage with customers while on worksite. This is critical - All employees must positively represent our brand.
  • Ability to work safely.
  • Basic computer usage.
  • Reliable, with ability to get themselves to jobsites in the St. John's metro area.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Plumbing , framing, and HVAC experience an asset but red seal not required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to present themselves professionally.
