Job Description
We are seeking a Thermal Simulation and Validation Engineer or Specialist to support the development and improvement of our thermal packaging solutions. This role combines numerical simulation, laboratory testing, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Main Responsibilities
Simulation and Analysis
- Use simulations based on finite element analysis (FEA) or other numerical methods.
- Perform numerical simulations and analyses of cold chain solutions using FEA techniques.
Collaboration and Project Management
- Work closely with sales teams, design engineers, product engineers, and laboratory technicians.
- Define and execute customer project evaluations, including numerical simulation and physical testing requirements.
Laboratory Testing
- Organize and conduct laboratory tests: sample preparation, protocol writing, chamber scheduling, data acquisition and analysis.
- Write, review, and approve test protocols and test reports.
Innovation and Development
- Explore, research, and develop new cold chain technologies and applications.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, thermal, chemical, or related field).
- Mandatory background in thermal engineering and simulation.
- Experience with FEA or other numerical methods is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing) — approximately 75% of communication is with teams and customers in the United States.
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
